Maize and Blue Method Cleaning focuses on both the health of the building occupants and the cleaning staff.
- Maize and Blue Method Cleaning is designed as a team cleaning strategy, the work is divided into tasks not in zones as traditionally used by custodial staff. Custodial Services transitioned from zone cleaning to team cleaning in 2009.
- All cleaning agents used in the Maize and Blue Method Cleaning program are environmentally friendly. The daily-use cleaning supplies that are used are EPA registered disinfectants or have earned the Green Seal Certification.
- Maize and Blue Method Cleaning also includes purposefully designed workloads for each team member. As prescribed by the MBC and with an emphasis on safety for our staff, our equipment is ergonomically fit to each team member.
